Customers will need to take out a 12-month Extra Box subscription costing £5 per month and buy an additional BT YouView+ box for £99. The second box will have all the same features and functionality as the first.
BT said high-speed fibre connections allowed it to deliver simultaneous viewing of lice channels on multiple TVs in HD quality.
"We are delighted to be able to offer BT customers the added flexibility of having two YouView+ boxes in their home," said Alex Green, director of TV at BT.
Extra Box is only available on YouView, with existing customers on a Vsion set-top box able to swap it for a YouView+ G4 box for £35. The multi-room service also requires a broadband line speed of greater than 34Mbps, although BT said "the majority" of its Infinity customers should get this speed.
