The redesign was planned as a surprise for Randeep by his parents and sister.

Hailing from Faridabad, the accomplished Randeep Hooda is held in high regard in the Indian film industry. His growth has been evolutionary and transformational, and he's left his mark with his meaningful work. To match his skilled and contemporary approach to acting, his sister Anjali and his parents approached the Godrej Interio team to surprise him with a newly transformed family home. The design team got to work, ensuring that each room held an emotional connect for each member of the family, and also incorporated their individual tastes and preferences.

Refurbished by Godrej Interio, actor Randeep Hooda’s family home in Faridabad was transformed into a modern interpretation of Indian design affinities. The living room is a colourful mix of furniture and accessories.Living Room

The transformation was headed by design expert Ronitaa Italia-Dhanu, who gave the home its resultant modern appeal. Hooda's own bedroom has subtle colours in an elegant combination of black and gold. The other bedrooms maintain similar themes in blue and grey, and brown and yellow. Taking into account the client's need for a warm home with a contemporary touch, the design team opted for a vibrant colour palette with just the right amount of accessories. The design is based on an elaborate moodboard that details everything from the floor plan to the furniture that was planned for the home.

Accessories like wall art, picture frames and decorative pots and vases adorn every corner of the house, creating a visual balance between the spacious rooms and their busy corners.Bedroom

Considering that the living room is the most public space in the house, the Godrej Interio team chose summery colours like yellow, green and red to bring the space to life. Slightly darker shades dominate the furniture, whereas lighter shades are seen in the quirky accessories. Hooda's own bedroom has subtle colours in an elegant combination of black and gold. The other bedrooms maintain similar themes in blue and grey, and brown and yellow. Although each bedroom boasts of an individual design identity, what ties them together is their spaciousness and calculated balance of furniture and accessories.

The overall essence of the project had to encapsulate the main focus of the transformation — to help Randeep and his family feel happy and comfortable in their new home. The result creates a design upgrade from their old home besides bringing about a new sense of connection within the family.
